Customer Reviews

In this section I just want to list and answer to some useful "Customer Reviews" because the only way to answer about "some application choices" is to write here, on the Support Page ;) The reviews are taken from nearly all the AppStores around the world.

Thanks Gregster22200 for have spent time to review my app and thanks for the 5 stars! ;)

Prototype4377 is right. The Dominant 7 chords are named "Major 7" followed by "(minot 7th)". This is because, after many perplexities, I decided to group all the Major chord first. If I had wrote just "7" it was not useful to understand that it was a Major chord. "Major" is referred to the chord, not to the 7th note of the chord. These are the classical and common issues about harmony nomenclatures. I choose my way. Same thing for the Major 7+ chord: i wrote the symbol of the triangle (delta), that is used to distinguish the dominant 7 from the major 7, often 7+ nomenclature is used... About the search function. You're totally right. For the first release I preferred a very very very simple interface. That's all.

Thanks Prototype4377 for have spent time to review my app ;)

Highway6 is right. I have spent a lot of time about thinking what could be the best way to show the information. The only good idea that I found was this: split the natural and the alterations (chord/scales/harmonizations) in 2 pages. In the Harmonizations section the fonts are very small... I know. I tried all the sizes, I couldn't do nothing bigger because some pages, the "Melodic Minor (4 tones)" for example, are very full of information. Using one page for all the information would be impossible this way.

Thanks Highway6 for have spent time to review my app ;)

Sure! Just because the minor 7 5# chord is not present in any harmonization! It's one of those chords artificially invented with no serious use in music. Try to google "minor 7 5#" or "minor 7 #5", you'll find only flat 5 minor 7 chords. By the way, Ab minor 7 5# chord is: Ab, Cb, E, Gb (not B). ;)

Thanks drummer in NOLA for have spent time to review my app ;)
